Mr. Uba Danlami Solomon, a retired medical official from the Gwagwalada Area Council’s township clinic, died in his sleep early Saturday at his residence in Naharati, Abaji Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory.
His eldest son, Zawali Danlami Nabarth, said Solomon appeared healthy the previous night but was found unresponsive around 6:12 a.m. when two of his younger sons went to greet him.
“I rushed to him and discovered that he was already dead,” Nabarth recounted.
The family transported him to the general hospital, where doctors confirmed his passing.
Solomon, who retired from the Gwagwalada township clinic two years ago, was buried the same day in accordance with Islamic rites. Nabarth, a former APC councillorship aspirant for Rumba/Ebagi Ward, described his father as a dedicated public servant and a loving family man.
