Nigerian football star and Super Eagles striker Sadiq Umar, alongside Hon. Bello El-Rufai, member of the House of Representatives for Kaduna North, have officially acquired Rancher Bees FC, a historic football club based in Kaduna.
The team is set to compete in the Nigeria National League (NNL), in the upcoming season.
Sadiq Umar expressed enthusiasm about reviving the club’s legacy, saying they aim to “return the club to its old glory days.”
Former AS Roma defender Nura Abdulahi has been appointed club president.
The new ownership team is focused on securing promotion to the Nigeria Premier League (NPFL).
This acquisition signals a promising new chapter for Rancher Bees FC, with strong support from Kaduna’s passionate fanbase fueling hopes for a successful revival of the club’s storied history.
