The family of Prince Bameiyi, a protocol officer with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen in Gwagwalada, Federal Capital Territory.
The incident occurred over the weekend, with Bameiyi’s wife and three children abducted shortly after he returned from attending a burial.
Security agencies have been alerted and are working to secure the safe release of the victims.
Authorities have urged residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities.
The abduction has heightened fears over rising insecurity in parts of the FCT, where kidnappings have become a growing concern.
As efforts to rescue the family continue, pressure mounts on security operatives to apprehend the perpetrators and prevent similar crimes.
