Super Eagles and Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface has admitted that life in Europe feels “boring” compared to the vibrancy of Lagos.
Speaking on ‘The Culture League’ Podcast with teammates Wilfred Ndidi and Frank Onyeka, the forward said he misses the city’s energy and warmth so much that he would gladly commute daily from Lagos to Germany for training if it were possible.
“Lagos has life, energy, and culture. Europe is boring, there’s no place like home,” Boniface said.
Asked where he would live if money were no object, he joked that he would remain in Lagos and even play for MFM FC, underscoring his deep connection to Nigerian life and community.
