The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), has issued a travel advisory following heavy traffic congestion around the Murtala Muhammed Airport (MMA), Lagos, caused by a protest by members of the Farmcraft Centre for the Blind.

The demonstration has slowed movement on key access roads to the airport, prompting FAAN to urge passengers to check traffic updates, confirm flight schedules with their airlines, and consider alternative routes.

FAAN advised travelers to leave early, plan ahead, and allow extra time for their journey to avoid missing flights.

The agency apologized for the inconvenience and appealed for patience and understanding from commuters.

The protest has significantly disrupted access to the airport, and FAAN’s advisory aims to minimize delays and ensure safe, timely travel for all passengers.
