Leicester City have reportedly rejected a late bid from Spanish club Valencia for Nigerian midfielder Wilfred Ndidi.
According to multiple sources, the English club has accepted a €9.5 million offer from Turkish Super Lig side Besiktas for the 28-year-old.
Ndidi has agreed personal terms and is set to join the Istanbul-based club, now managed by former Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The Nigerian international is expected to undergo a medical later this week.
Transfer expert Ben Jacobs confirmed that Leicester turned down Valencia’s approach in favour of Besiktas’ offer, with only minor details remaining to finalise the deal.
Ndidi will sign a three-year contract with an option for a fourth year.
