The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) has discredited a viral list circulating on social media that claims to contain the names of successful and reserve candidates admitted through the Armed Forces Selection Board (AFSB) for 2025, describing it as fake.

In a statement on Monday, the Academy’s Public Relations Officer, Major Mohammed Maidawa, urged the public to disregard the list, stressing that it did not originate from the NDA.

“The attention of the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) has been drawn to a fake list of successful and reserve candidates at the Armed Forces Selection Board (AFSB) 2025. The general public is hereby advised to disregard this list as it did not emanate from the NDA,” the statement read.

He affirmed that the official list, once ready, will be published only in credible national newspapers and on the Academy’s official website, www.nda.edu.ng.

The Academy also warned the public to be alert and avoid falling for fraudulent schemes targeting unsuspecting applicants and their families.
