Victory Okokon has emerged as the new Head of House (HoH) for Week 2 of Big Brother Naija Season 10, following a gripping Monday night challenge that ended Thelma Lawson’s reign less than 24 hours after her appointment.
The surprise twist in the competition format enabled Victory to outmaneuver other contenders and seize control of the house.
His win comes with full immunity from nominations, access to the exclusive HoH lounge, and the authority to influence critical house decisions throughout the week.
In a move that caught viewers off guard, Victory selected Joanna as both his deputy and house guest, snubbing fan-favorite Gigi Jasmine, whom many had predicted would be his pick. Victory and Joanna will now share the HoH lounge for the week.
This latest development adds to the evolving dynamics of the season. Jason Jae had earlier made headlines as the first contestant to successfully defend the HoH title under Big Brother’s updated rules.
Before her brief stint was cut short, Thelma Lawson had made history as the first female HoH of the season after clinching the title during Sunday night’s competition, her second time holding the role.
