Big Brother Naija 10/10 housemate, Thelma Lawson, has denied having a romantic relationship with fellow housemate, Kayikunmi.
The controversy began after Thelma picked Kayikunmi as her guest on Sunday night following her emergence as Head of House.
The decision sparked tension in the house, with Kayikunmi’s love interest, Isabella, accusing Thelma of selecting him to spite her.
However, in a conversation with Kola on Monday, Thelma dismissed the claims, insisting that her choice was purely strategic.
She explained that they shared the bed without intimacy, likening the sleeping arrangement to “when Moses parted the Red Sea.”
“Choosing Kayikunmi as my guest is just a game. It’s nothing personal. I’m doing it so that everybody will realise that being Head of House is far more than choosing your friends to come and live with you,” she said. “If there were nominations today and Isabella is up, you would be surprised because I would save her and somebody else.”
Kayikunmi, during a separate conversation with Kola, also clarified that there was no romantic involvement between him and Thelma.
“Thelma is my guy, there’s nothing between us. She will clear me every time if I’m messing up. I can still be professing love to Isabella,” he stated.
