Former Deputy Governor of Ekiti State, Senator Biodun Olujimi, has declared that her relationship with ex-Governor Ayo Fayose is now cordial, as both now pursue a shared political goal.

Olujimi, who recently defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC), said their focus is to ensure President Bola Tinubu and Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji win second terms.

Speaking on TVC’s Beyond the Headlines, she stated: “I think it’s perfect. What is important is that we’re working towards the same goal.”

She praised Tinubu’s bold decisions, noting they are beginning to yield results. “This is the first time I will see a government take tough decisions, stand by it, and run with it… All those tough decisions are yielding fruit gradually,” she added.

Olujimi emphasized that her defection was not for personal gain but to add value and work hard for the APC.
