The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kuje Area Council of the FCT has officially presented certificates of return to its councillorship candidates ahead of the forthcoming council election.
The party’s chairman in Kuje, Ibrahim Adamu, performed the presentation at the APC secretariat on Friday, charging the candidates to “hit the ground running” by mobilising support and reaching out to voters in their various wards.
Adamu stressed that the election would be keenly contested and called on party members to unite behind the candidates to secure victory.
APC chairmanship candidate, Samuel Danjuma Shekwolo, also urged the councillorship flagbearers to engage in wide consultations, including reaching out to opposition members, saying “politics is about numbers, and we must bring everyone on board to win.”
Party loyalists and stakeholders who attended the event expressed confidence that APC would emerge victorious if all members worked together.
