The chairman of the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Mr. Christopher Maikalangu, on Wednesday, received his Certificate of Return from the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja.
Maikalangu had emerged victorious in the APC primaries for the AMAC chairmanship election held on June 25, 2025, securing 51 votes
After receiving the certificate, the council boss assured APC members that the party would emerge victorious in the forthcoming elections
According to the timetable released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the FCT council elections are scheduled for February 26, 2026
