To hygiene and student well-being, Megastar Media Communications has donated an ultra-modern, solar-powered toilet facility to Junior Secondary School, Sokale Dutse Alhaji, Abuja, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), efforts.
Speaking at the official handover ceremony on July 19, 2025, the Chief Executive Officer of Megastar Media, Dr. Adeniyi Ifetayo, emphasized the company’s commitment to promoting environmental sustainability and improving access to clean sanitation.
“Clean and safe toilet facilities are a fundamental right of every child,” Ifetayo said. “By integrating solar technology, we’re not only providing sanitation but also helping the school cut down on utility costs.”
The facility is designed to enhance hygiene standards and improve the learning environment, particularly in a time when many public schools across Nigeria struggle with poor infrastructure.
Receiving the facility, the school’s principal, Dr. Oba Funsho Usman, expressed heartfelt gratitude.
“We didn’t expect something of this magnitude,” he said. “This is a blessing to our students, and we pray God replenishes the giver.”
Also present were representatives from the Parents-Teachers Association (PTA), Wells Carlton Hotel, and members of the community.
Megastar Media reaffirmed its commitment to impactful CSR interventions aimed at improving lives and promoting sustainable development in communities across Nigeria.
