The Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC), has disbursed a record N1.818 trillion to the federal, state, and local governments for June 2025 revenue, marking the highest monthly allocation so far this year.

The figure, released after FAAC’s July meeting in Abuja, surpasses May’s N1.659 trillion and April’s N1.681 trillion.

It includes revenues from statutory sources (N1.018 trillion), VAT (N631.5 billion), EMTL (N29.2 billion), exchange gains (N38.8 billion), and a N100 billion augmentation.

From the total generated revenue of N4.232 trillion, N162.8 billion was deducted as collection cost, while N2.251 trillion was reserved for savings, transfers, and interventions.

The federal government received N645.38 billion, states N607.42 billion, and local councils N444.85 billion. Oil-producing states got N120.76 billion as 13% derivation.

FAAC attributed the revenue boost to increased inflows from Companies Income Tax, Petroleum Profit Tax, and EMTL, despite a drop in VAT and oil and gas receipts.
