Nigeria’s Super Falcons have stormed into the semi-finals of the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), with a commanding 5-0 victory over Zambia in Casablanca.
The Falcons dominated from start to finish, maintaining their unbeaten record and extending their clean sheet streak.
The win marks their 13th semi-final appearance in the tournament’s history.
Zambia’s top forwards, Racheal Kundananji and Barbra Banda, were effectively shut down by Nigeria’s solid defense.
The Falcons will face the winner of the South Africa vs. Senegal clash in the next round.
