Renowned youth mentor and psychologist, Ngozi Okafor, brought a wave of inspiration to students of the University of Abuja on July 2, 2025, with the launch of her “Youth Landmark Empowerment Show.”

The event, produced by media advocate Tayo Folorunsho, drew thousands of eager attendees and blended entertainment with education to address the real-world needs of young Nigerians.

Describing the show as “groundbreaking,” Folorunsho praised the turnout and called it proof that young people are “hungry for knowledge and platforms to express themselves.”

Okafor, who has worked with youth across the UK, USA, and Nigeria, used the platform to emphasize the urgency of addressing challenges faced by university students.

“Our show is about impacting minds, embracing the future, and giving guidance to the youths,” she said.

The event featured talks, interactive sessions, and storytelling, giving students tools for self-development, entrepreneurship, and leadership.

It also previewed Okafor’s upcoming television series focused on topics like mental wellness, financial literacy, and personal growth.

Backed by a career that spans work with Hope Worldwide in the UK and radio advocacy with Armed Forces Radio in Nigeria, Okafor has also supported over 50 young entrepreneurs through donations of startup equipment and seed funding.

“This is more than content; it’s a movement,” she said. “We’re building a generation that is self-aware, skilled, and ready to lead.”

Broadcast details for the upcoming TV series will be announced soon.
