The Ondo State Police Command has revealed shocking details surrounding the abduction and murder of two Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko (AAUA), students; Friday Abah, 25, and Eloho Okah, 19, who went missing on June 20, 2025.

Commissioner of Police Adebowale Lawal confirmed on Wednesday that the victims were kidnapped, robbed, and later killed. Okah was reportedly raped before being murdered.

A police investigation began after a petition from the victims’ families on June 24.

Tracking led officers to Lagos, where a suspect, Abdul Mohammed Mubarak, was arrested with an iPhone 14 Pro Max belonging to one of the students.

He confessed to buying the phone from Ojo Michael, who was later arrested in Ekiti State.

Michael, in turn, implicated Oladele Femi, the landlord of one of the students, as the mastermind.

Femi allegedly conspired with Michael and an accomplice, “Kola” (now at large), to abduct the students. ₦800,000 was withdrawn from Abah’s account during their captivity.

Police say Okah recognized one of her attackers, prompting the duo’s execution. Their bodies were dumped in different locations.

Femi has confessed and is in custody. Okah’s body was recovered near Ode-Ekiti for autopsy, while efforts continue to retrieve Abah’s remains believed to have been dumped in a river.

The AAUA Student Union President, Akeem Ologbon, described the incident as devastating and called for justice.
