Afrobeats star Adekunle Gold, popularly known as AG Baby, has awarded N250,000 each to several first-class graduates who responded to his call on X (formerly Twitter), to share their academic transcripts.
The gesture drew widespread praise online, adding to the singer’s growing reputation for philanthropy.
Through his Adekunle Gold Foundation, he also offers music business scholarships to individuals living with sickle cell disease.
The program provides training in music management, production, branding, and intellectual property.
Applications for the 2024 scholarship closed on September 23.
