Former Super Falcons forward, Stella Mbachu, has cautioned Nigeria’s national women’s football team against excessive use of social media as they prepare for upcoming international competitions.
She warned that online distractions could undermine the team’s performance and cohesion.
In a statement, Mbachu stressed that the Falcons, who are aiming for their 10th Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), title must remain focused and avoid unnecessary online noise.
She emphasized the importance of mental discipline and professionalism, urging both players and coaching staff to prioritize physical training, tactical preparation, and team unity over social media engagement.
