The Peculiar People’s Centre for Deliverance Through Evangelism, a branch of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church in Kubwa, Abuja, has celebrated its 20th Founder’s Day Anniversary with thanksgiving today, with a renewed commitment to building a spiritually vibrant community for future generations.

He said the church’s mission goes beyond the present, focusing on capacity building and spiritual revival anchored in the Word of God.
“We’re building not just a congregation but a legacy for the next generation. Many who had left due to misunderstanding have returned after encountering truth and grace here,” he said.
Pastor Ogundipe emphasized that the church is helping believers rediscover “the old paths” and deepen their understanding of God.
“Without the Word, nothing stands. Faith, obedience, and divine fulfilment all rest on the foundation of the Word,” he added.
He recounted the church’s early challenges and noted that their survival and growth of over two decades is the evidence of divine guidance and covenant.
Welcoming members and invited guests to the event, the Secretary-General of the Church, Special Apostle Olayinka Olatundun, gave glory to God for His continuous presence and wonders in the lives of the congregation.
“From the very first day of the founding of this church, God has been so great. He has worked wonders, and we thank everyone who has contributed since inception.
“We welcome you all as we celebrate together and look ahead to our 21st, 25th, and onward until Jesus comes,” he said.
Delivering the keynote address, Special Mother in Israel, Margaret Ohenhen, described the anniversary as a celebration of God’s steadfastness and mercy.
“We are not just having a party. We are celebrating the God who stood by us through these 20 years.
“His blessings are countless. We thank everyone for coming, and I assure you, it’s going to be a joyful evening,” she said.
The celebration featured testimonies from members who recounted personal experiences of divine intervention, healing, restoration, and spiritual growth through the ministry.
Though the church has faced challenges, members testified that God’s mercy has remained constant. “We’ve had our ups and downs, but God never failed us,” one member shared.
