The Federal Government has announced the commencement of the 2025 nationwide recruitment into four key paramilitary agencies under the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB).

In a statement signed by the CDCFIB Secretary, the recruitment portal will open on Monday, July 14, 2025, and remain active for three weeks.

The exercise covers the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS), and Federal Fire Service (FFS).

Eligible applicants must be Nigerian by birth, aged between 18 and 35, and possess at least SSCE, WAEC, or NECO, with higher qualifications encouraged for senior positions.

Physical and medical fitness, a clean criminal record, and minimum height and chest measurements are also required.

Candidates are warned to apply for only one position in a single agency, as multiple applications will lead to disqualification.

The process is free, and applicants are urged to avoid fraudsters and unofficial websites.

Shortlisted candidates will undergo physical screening, aptitude tests, and medical examinations.

The Controller-General of Immigration, Kemi Nandap, and her counterparts assured that the exercise will be transparent and merit-based.

The recruitment aims to address manpower gaps and bolster national security operations. Applicants are advised to apply early and follow official updates.
