State chairmen of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), have endorsed former Senate President David Mark as the party’s interim national leader in a move to end internal crises and restore unity.
The endorsement was announced on Friday, July 11, 2025, after a strategic meeting in Abuja attended by all 36 state chairmen and the FCT Chairperson.
The chairmen, in a jointly signed communiqué, declared full support for Mark’s leadership, describing him as a unifying figure with the experience to rebuild the party ahead of the 2027 elections.
They urged aggrieved members to return and support ongoing internal reforms, stressing that no splinter group would be recognized outside the party’s constitution.
