The Chairman of the Presidential Compressed Natural Gas Initiative (PCNGI), Barrister Ismael Ahmed, on Thursday, visited several CNG conversion and refilling stations in Abuja to check their readiness and progress.
During the visit, Ahmed interacted with technicians, station managers, and other stakeholders to understand their operations, challenges, and ability to meet rising demand.
He expressed satisfaction with the ongoing work and restated the federal government’s resolve to provide “cleaner and more affordable energy” through the CNG initiative.
He also emphasized the need for “timely execution, quality service delivery, and strong collaboration.”
The inspection is part of PCNGI’s efforts to speed up Nigeria’s shift to gas-powered transportation.
