Wife of the President, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on Wednesday commissioned a 30-bed Primary Health Centre in Ikoyi-Obalende LCDA, Lagos.

Represented by the wife of the Vice President, Nana Shettima, Mrs Tinubu described the facility as a boost to healthcare access, especially for women and children.

She commended the council chairman, Fuad Lawal, for prioritising grassroots development and thanked the council for naming the centre after her.

Also speaking, wife of the Lagos State Governor, Dr Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, praised the initiative, linking it to the success of President Tinubu’s Local Government Autonomy Policy.

Chairman Lawal noted that the project, made possible by subsidy removal and increased LG autonomy, is one of many achievements since 2017.
