The National Discourse Network for Excellence (NDNE), has praised the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, for what it described as a “bold and transformational infrastructure drive” reshaping Abuja.

In a statement signed by its Director of Strategy and Communications, Mr. Uche Nnadozie, the group noted that within one month, the FCT Administration under Wike and Minister of State Dr. Mariya Mahmoud has commissioned 17 major projects.

These include roads, bridges, rural access routes, and ultra-modern bus terminals.

They also applauded the newly unveiled Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre, calling it a symbol of Abuja’s modernization.

The group commended Wike’s hands-on leadership, often inspecting projects late at night to ensure timely delivery.

They urged the FCT to improve operational efficiency, particularly in managing the new transport infrastructure to curb crimes like “one chance” robberies.

NDNE also acknowledged Wike’s role in resolving issues in the primary education sector, leading to the return of striking teachers.

The group expressed hope that Abuja is on track to become a world-class capital city.
