Galatasaray is reportedly nearing a full agreement to sign Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen from Napoli, after expressing readiness to activate his €75 million release clause.
According to reports, Galatasaray Vice-President Abdullah Kavukcu and intermediary George Gardi held a crucial meeting in Italy with Napoli representatives on Wednesday to finalize the details of the deal.
Footage from Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio showed the Galatasaray delegation leaving the meeting. Gardi confirmed talks are progressing, stating, “We’re working on it, let’s see how it goes… There is a desire, evidently.”
Osimhen spent the 2024-25 season on loan at Galatasaray after a permanent move from Napoli collapsed on the final day of the 2024 summer transfer window.
The Turkish giants are now pushing to secure his signature on a permanent basis ahead of the new season.
