Arsenal have completed the signing of Danish midfielder Christian Norgaard from Brentford in a deal worth £10 million, with potential add-ons of £2 million.
Announced on Thursday, the 31-year-old becomes Mikel Arteta’s latest addition as the Gunners aim to bolster their midfield ahead of a busy season.
Norgaard brings Premier League experience, having made 196 appearances and scored 13 goals over four seasons with Brentford.
Arteta described Norgaard as a player with “depth, composure, and physical presence,” noting his leadership and tactical awareness as key assets.
This is Arsenal’s third summer signing after Martin Zubimendi and Kepa Arrizabalaga.
The club is also closing in on Swedish striker Viktor Gyökeres from Sporting Lisbon in a potential £70 million deal.
