Former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, has been appointed Chairman of the Board of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).

The announcement was made by the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, and confirmed in a video shared on X (formerly Twitter), by Keyamo’s Special Adviser on Digital Media, Gbenga Saka.

The footage captured the formal unveiling of Ganduje in his new role, just days after his resignation from the APC leadership; an exit that had fueled speculation about his next political move.

Ganduje’s new position places him at the helm of FAAN, a key agency responsible for the management and development of airports across Nigeria.

His appointment signals the federal government’s continued reliance on experienced political figures for strategic infrastructure oversight.
