The Federal Government has reaffirmed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s unwavering focus on delivering his reform-driven Renewed Hope Agenda, dismissing growing political speculations ahead of the 2027 elections.
In a statement on July 8, 2025, Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, said the President remains committed to transformative national goals and is not distracted by early political realignments or election talk.
The ministry highlighted key achievements under Tinubu’s administration, including reduced crude oil theft, renewed investor confidence, a stabilizing Naira, falling inflation, strengthened security, expanded student loans, and adoption of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), vehicles.
It also pointed to the passage of four tax reform laws and the launch of a major agricultural mechanization project as part of ongoing efforts to boost economic growth and job creation.
The government urged Nigerians to focus on progress, warning that political distractions must not derail national development.
