Minna is set to take center stage in Nigeria’s green revolution as Fonnd Motor Manufacturing and Abdulkadir Kure University Minna (AKUM), launch a Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), Conversion Training Programme.
Running daily from July 14 to 19, 2025, at AKUM’s campus, the initiative aims to equip young Nigerians and auto mechanics with practical skills in CNG vehicle conversion as well as supporting clean energy adoption and boosting employment.
The training aligns with the Federal Government’s energy transition goals, addressing the rising demand for affordable and eco-friendly transportation.
Organizers say the programme offers a direct path to entrepreneurship and better-paying jobs in the auto sector.
AKUM, known for its focus on practical education, is partnering to ensure a hands-on learning experience. The collaboration signals a major step forward in Nigeria’s pursuit of sustainable development and job creation.
