The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, has died at the age of 90.
Sources confirmed that the monarch passed away in the early hours of Monday, marking the end of a significant era in the traditional leadership of Ibadanland.
His death occurred during the ongoing celebrations of his 90th birthday and the first anniversary of his coronation, making the occasion a bittersweet one for the people of Ibadan.
Oba Olakulehin ascended the throne following the passing of his predecessor, the late Oba Lekan Balogun.
