The Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF) has released the preliminary squad for D’Tigress, the senior women’s national basketball team, ahead of the 2025 FIBA Women’s AfroBasket Championship scheduled to hold in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.
Preparations for the tournament, set to run from July 25 to August 3, will begin immediately as the team looks to defend its continental title.
The NBBF reaffirmed its dedication to assembling the best talents to represent Nigeria, with a clear focus on maintaining their dominance in African women’s basketball and securing another AfroBasket trophy.
