The first batch of 2025 hajj pilgrims from the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has returned to Nigeria, with 425 pilgrims arriving safely from Saudi Arabia.
The flight, which marked the commencement of the return phase of the 2025 hajj operations, was coordinated by the FCT Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board.
Confirming the arrival, the Board reassured families and the public that plans were in place to ensure the smooth and timely return of all remaining pilgrims in the coming days.
Officials disclosed that the second return flight is scheduled for today, June 23.
The Board also acknowledged ongoing efforts to address logistical and coordination challenges to avoid unnecessary delays in the return process.
