AMAC Chairman Applauds Peaceful Delegates Election, Commends INEC, APC Leadership

The Chairman of Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Hon. Christopher Maikalangu, has commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), All Progressives Congress (APC), executives, stakeholders, and security agencies for their collective roles in ensuring a peaceful and credible delegates election in the council.

Speaking in Abuja, Maikalangu, who also leads the APC in AMAC, praised INEC for demonstrating professionalism, transparency, and commitment to democratic values throughout the election process.

He also extended special appreciation to the APC Chairman in AMAC, Abubakar Muktar, and other party executives for their organizational efforts and leadership, which he said helped preserve the integrity of the electoral process.

The AMAC Chairman acknowledged the contributions of party stakeholders and community members whose support, he noted, promoted unity and a shared sense of purpose during the exercise.

He lauded the participating delegates for their enthusiasm and dedication, describing their conduct as a reflection of the strength and maturity of the APC in AMAC.

Maikalangu also thanked security agencies for maintaining peace and order during the election, emphasizing their vital role in the smooth conduct of the process.

Looking ahead, he expressed readiness to work closely with the newly elected delegates to strengthen the party’s position at the upcoming primaries and accelerate development efforts across the council.

He urged all party members and supporters to remain united and focused, assuring them that with continued cooperation, AMAC will witness more progress under his leadership.
