Detained IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu has declared he has no case to answer in the seven-count terrorism and treasonable felony charge filed against him by the Federal Government.
Kanu’s position came after the prosecution closed its case, having called five witnesses and presented evidence alleging his involvement in attacks on police officers and stations during the 2020 EndSARS protests.
His lawyer, Chief Kanu Agabi, SAN, filed a no-case submission, arguing the prosecution failed to establish a prima facie case.
The court adjourned to July 18 for final arguments.
