Operatives of the FCT Police Command have arrested a suspected kidnap kingpin linked to several high-profile abductions in Abuja and neighbouring states.
Police sources confirmed the arrest took place on June 17.
The suspect is reportedly connected to the kidnapping and murder of a pastor, the abduction of a woman for whom a ₦10 million ransom was paid, and the kidnapping of three children during which their father was killed for resisting the abductors.
Investigations are ongoing.
