Tinubu Visits Survivors of Benue Massacre

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Wednesday paid a condolence visit to victims of the recent massacre in Yelewata, Guma Local Government Area of Benue State, where more than 100 people were killed and several others injured in a brutal attack last Saturday.

The president arrived at the Nigerian Air Force Base in Makurdi at about 12:58 p.m. and proceeded to the Benue State University Teaching Hospital, where he met with some of the survivors receiving treatment.

Accompanied by Governor Hyacinth Alia and other senior government officials, President Tinubu is also scheduled to meet with stakeholders at the new banquet hall of the Benue State Government House to discuss the security situation and possible solutions.
