Eighteen football clubs from across the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), have begun their quest for supremacy as the 2025 FCT Football Association League kicked off in grand style on Monday in Abuja.
The month-long tournament promises a spectacle of talent, passion, and entertainment, with matches taking place at major venues including the Area 3 Playing Pitch and the Old Parade Ground.
The 18 participating teams are divided into three groups, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the Super Six round, where the overall champions will emerge.
Football enthusiasts are in for an exciting showdown as clubs showcase their skills in the heart of Nigeria’s capital.
Group A features CASMATT FC, Defence Strikers, Gwarinpa United, Golden Boys, IB Sports, and Royal FC.
Group B includes Pride FC, Youthful Ballers FA, Optimum Sports, Makinz FC, Camp United, and RAMSAKY FC.
Group C comprises Ejike Ugboaja FC, Basic Maracana, Abees FA, Future Guarantee, Sofae Sports, and Sensational Stars FC.
