President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has directed that all Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs), must now pay to use the newly renovated Abuja International Conference Centre.
The directive was announced on Tuesday during the official reopening of the facility, which has been renamed the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre.
AàThe decision is aimed at ensuring the proper maintenance and long-term sustainability of the centre, which was refurbished by the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), at a reported cost of ₦39 billion.
The facility is now positioned to serve as a premier venue for both national and international events, with the usage fee expected to generate revenue for its continuous upkeep.
