Nollywood actor Charles Okocha has asked fans and well-wishers to pray for his friend Rico, popularly known as “Billionaire Gateman,” who narrowly escaped death after a ceiling collapse in his home.
Rico was caught beneath fallen POP (Plaster of Paris) ceiling panels, prompting immediate concern.
He was quickly rescued and taken to the hospital for treatment.
Reacting to the incident, Okocha shared a message on Instagram thanking God for Rico’s survival.
“Prayers up for my boy Rico #billionaire_gateman_ POP just fell on him. To God be the glory,” he wrote.
The post drew widespread attention, with fans and fellow entertainers joining him in offering prayers and support for Rico’s recovery.
The close call serves as a reminder of the unpredictability of such accidents and the power of communal solidarity in times of crisis.
