President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended his condolences to Senator Smart Adeyemi following the passing of his mother, Princess Victoria Oyeyemi Adeyemi (née Ibilola), describing her as a humble, kind, and peaceful woman.
In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President paid tribute to the late Princess, praising her as a respected community leader who impacted many lives through her exemplary character.
President Tinubu highlighted her enduring legacy in the Iyara community of Kogi State and her longstanding ties to Niger State, where she lived for 45 years, raised six children, and built meaningful relationships before relocating to Abuja.
He prayed for the peaceful repose of her soul and asked God to grant the bereaved family strength and comfort during their time of mourning.
Princess Adeyemi is survived by her children, including Senator Smart Adeyemi.
