Popular Skitmaker and musician, Lawal Nasiru, widely known as Nasboi, has survived a car accident while on a nationwide journey to secure a music collaboration with Afrobeats star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido.
Nasboi revealed on Tuesday that his vehicle crashed into a stationary trailer during the trip.
While he did not disclose the exact location of the incident, the news has sparked an outpouring of concern and support from fans across social media platforms.
The entertainer had embarked on an ambitious road tour across Nigeria’s 36 states to draw Davido’s attention for a potential feature on an upcoming song.
Following the accident, Nasboi went live on social media to assure his followers that he was safe and in recovery.
Appearing calm and composed in the video, he expressed gratitude that no lives were lost.
“This could have happened in Lagos, too. I don’t even know how it happened; I’m just laughing,” he said. “At this point, I think I need to give up. Thank God nobody was injured or killed. We are all good.”
