A devastating incident occurred in the early hours of Monday when a high-tension cable snapped in Okrika Community, Okrika Local Government Area of Rivers State, resulting in the tragic deaths of at least six people.
The victims include a pregnant woman and a National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), worker and four other people.
The incident, which happened around 1:12 a.m., also caused a fire that razed a building and destroyed properties worth millions.
The community is left in shock and grief following the tragic event.
