A leading aspirant in the 2025 Bwari Area Council election, Hon. Ayo-Jamialu, has officially declared his ambition to contest for the Council Chairman position by submitting his nomination form at the All Progressives Congress (APC), National Secretariat in Abuja.
Speaking after the submission over the weekend, Jamialu thanked stakeholders, supporters, and party members who rallied behind him; both morally and financially, to make his aspiration a reality.
He pledged to deliver inclusive, people-driven leadership if elected.
“With your support and the mandate of the people, I promise to drive a transformative agenda that prioritizes inclusive governance, regardless of ethnicity, religion, gender, or political leaning,” he said.
Jamialu aligned his ambition with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, pledging to implement reforms with compassion, fairness, and a development-driven mindset.
He also emphasized plans to boost agriculture through mechanized farming, promote education and healthcare, and address insecurity, especially farmers-herders clashes, through proactive community engagement and collaborative strategies.
“Bwari is strategically located and richly blessed. With creative governance and the right investment in human capital, we can unlock its full potential,” he stated.
He praised President Tinubu for granting autonomy to local governments, describing the move as a bold step toward grassroots development.
Jamialu expressed optimism that his leadership would serve as a catalyst for bringing those reforms to life in Bwari.
