Nigeria’s U-20 national team, the Flying Eagles, have been drawn in Group F alongside Colombia, Saudi Arabia, and Norway for the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Chile.
The group stage draw was conducted on Friday in Santiago, the Chilean capital.
The Flying Eagles booked their place at the tournament after finishing third at the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
As the countdown to kickoff begins, they will aim to surpass their underwhelming showing in the 1987 edition of the tournament, also held in Chile, where they exited at the group stage.
The 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup is scheduled to run from September 27 to October 19.
According to the tournament format, the top two teams from each group, along with the four best third-placed teams, will advance to the Round of 16.
