PCNGI to Launch CNG Conversion Centers at Motor Parks in Lagos

The Presidential Compressed Natural Gas Initiative (PCNGI), will on Friday inaugurate a CNG conversion center for commercial vehicles at the popular Mile 2 Park in Lagos.

In a statement posted on its official social media handles on Wednesday, PCNGI announced the launch in collaboration with the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), describing it as a transformative step toward enhancing efficiency and sustainability in Nigeria’s transport sector.

“In proud collaboration with the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), we’re unveiling a transformative initiative aimed at enhancing efficiency and sustainability within our commercial transport parks,” the statement read.

“This landmark event will mark the beginning of a new era for our transportation system-empowering drivers, improving passenger experiences, and promoting eco-friendly mobility solutions.”

The event is expected to attract dignitaries including top government officials, transport stakeholders, and industry leaders.
