The Saki Beere Festival came alive not just with culture and colour, but also with climate-focused advocacy, as the Presidential Compressed Natural Gas Initiative (PCNGi), took centre stage to promote cleaner energy solutions for mobility.
Seizing the unique opportunity presented by the festival, PCNGi actively engaged local leaders, transport operators, community members, and visitors, spotlighting the environmental and economic benefits of embracing Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), as an alternative to traditional fuels.
Through engaging exhibitions, interactive sessions, and open dialogue, the initiative drove home the message of a sustainable transport future.
The outreach aimed to deepen understanding of CNG’s role in reducing emissions, cutting costs for transport operators, and supporting healthier communities.
PCNGi’s participation aligns with Nigeria’s wider national objectives of achieving energy transition, enhancing economic resilience, and ensuring environmental sustainability.
The Saki Beere Festival thus provided not just cultural celebration but also a forward-looking platform to drive transformative energy conversations.
