Goodluck Emmanuel of the Federal Capital Territory has added another feather to his cap, winning a silver medal in the Wuschi Kung Fu event at the 22nd Gateway Games in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

Emmanuel’s dazzling display at the Ikenne Remo Stadium drew applause as he battled fiercely through the rounds, eventually finishing second after a tight final match.

His skill, agility and determination earned him a place on the podium once again, reinforcing his status as one of FCT’s brightest martial arts stars.

The spirited fighter, already known for his previous triumphs, proved yet again why he is a force to be reckoned with in Nigeria’s Kung Fu scene.

His silver adds to the momentum FCT has built at the Games, coming just days after a strong outing in weightlifting where the team secured one silver and two bronze medals.

So far, FCT athletes have clinched a total of eight medals-three gold, four silver and one bronze-as they continue to make waves in Abeokuta.

Emmanuel’s latest performance not only boosts FCT’s tally but also shines a spotlight on the territory’s rising talents nurtured through focused sports development. With more events ahead, the FCT contingent remains one to watch.
