Nigerian media personality and television host, Adams Ibrahim Adebola, popularly known as VJ Adams, has delivered a blunt message to men about how they approach dating.
In a video posted on his Instagram page, VJ Adams advised men to stop focusing on physical appearance when choosing a partner and start prioritising meaningful qualities.
“How far, young boys ehn. How is it that up until now, you people still don’t have sense? Don’t worry I will help you, that’s why I’m here,” he said.
Comparing the approach of men to that of women, he pointed out that women are more intentional in their assessments.
“Look at your female friends, you see when they’re discussing among themselves and one of them introduces the new man she met.
“The first thing they do is ask what he does for work. And if they ask for his picture, is just to make sure that the man hasn’t toasted them before,” he stated.
“But you see you boys you’re idiots. You just talk about her body, fools! You never ask important questions,” he added.
The video has sparked a conversation online, with many viewers applauding VJ Adams for challenging shallow standards in modern relationships.
