In celebration of President Bola Tinubu’s second year in office, the Federal Capital Territory Administration has announced a grand 19-day rollout of project commissioning across Abuja.

FCT Minister Nyesom Wike revealed the plan following the 14th Executive Committee meeting, setting June 10, 2025, as the kickoff date for the extensive commissioning schedule.

According to the Minister’s Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, Lere Olayinka, the projects span critical infrastructure upgrades including road networks, flyovers, and public terminals, signaling a bold statement of development under Tinubu’s leadership.

Among key projects ready for unveiling are the refurbished Abuja International Conference Centre, bus terminals in Kugbo and Mabushi, and the major Apo-Wassa road.

Also listed are the N16 interchange, Inner Northern Expressway from Ring Road 3, the N20 flyover along Onnex Kubwa Road, and roads linking Maitama through Katampe to Jahi.

Other community-impacting developments include access roads in Giri District, Kabusa, Ketti, and a 15-kilometre road from A2 Junction to Pai in Kwali. Roads in Ushafa, War College, and the Army Checkpoint in Bwari will also be commissioned.

The extensive list underscores the Tinubu administration’s infrastructural agenda and Wike’s resolve to position Abuja as a benchmark for urban excellence.
